MLTR Brings Take Us to Your Heart World Tour to Bengaluru
Michael Learns to Rock will perform at Phoenix Marketcity, Bengaluru, on February 19, 2026, as part of their Take Us to Your Heart India Tour.
If you’ve ever belted out That’s Why (You Go Away), replayed 25 Minutes on loop, or slow-danced to Paint My Love in your teens, this one’s for you. Danish pop-rock band Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) is set to perform in Bengaluru on February 19, 2026, bringing their timeless ’90s ballads back to an Indian stage.
Taking place at Phoenix Marketcity, Whitefield, the concert marks the opening stop on the Indian leg of their Take Us to Your Heart World Tour. This is also the band’s return to the country after more than two decades, giving fans a rare opportunity to experience the voices behind some of the most recognisable soft-rock hits of the 1990s.
Take Us to Your Heart World Tour
Michael Learns to Rock are heading back to India with their Take Us to Your Heart World Tour, continuing a decades-long connection with Indian audiences. Few international pop-rock acts have maintained the kind of sustained popularity MLTR has enjoyed here.
Since the late ’90s and early 2000s, their ballads have become staples across radio, college festivals and touring circuits, often drawing packed arenas and large-scale singalong crowds during previous visits. With over 11 million records sold globally and more than a billion cumulative YouTube views across their catalogue, MLTR’s music has stood the test of time globally.
The tour takes its name from their signature track Take Us to Your Heart and promises a career-spanning setlist featuring classics such as 25 Minutes, That’s Why (You Go Away), Someday, and Paint My Love.
Performed by the original trio, Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz, and Kåre Wanscher, the show leans into the band’s signature live strength of clean vocals and emotional delivery.
In recent years, MLTR’s catalogue has seen renewed traction on streaming platforms in India. Several of their biggest tracks consistently generate millions of streams, while YouTube view counts for songs like That’s Why (You Go Away) and Take Us to Your Heart continue to climb steadily. This sustained digital consumption reflects how the band has found new listeners through streaming algorithms and nostalgia-driven playlists, while longtime fans revisit the music.
The result is a rare cross-generational audience that few legacy pop-rock acts manage to sustain.
