Namma Run is designed as a complete fitness festival. Alongside the runs, you can expect live entertainment, Zumba sessions, games, breakfast, professional photography and activities that make it just as enjoyable for families and supporters as it is for runners.
Namma Run Bengaluru 2026: Every race category explained
One of the biggest strengths of Namma Run is that almost anyone can participate. The event includes categories for children, casual participants, families, seniors and competitive athletes.
Kids fun runs
If you're bringing children, there are two dedicated categories. Children can choose between:

The 3K Walkathon is ideal for first-time participants, parents, grandparents and anyone who prefers walking over running. You can also choose between non-timed 5K and 10K fun runs if you'd like to challenge yourself without worrying about official timings or rankings.
Entry fees are:
- 3K Walkathon – ₹799
- 5K Fun Run – ₹799
- 10K Fun Run – ₹899
These categories focus entirely on participation while still giving you access to all the event benefits, including your finisher medal, breakfast and festival activities.
Competitive timed runs for serious runners
If you're looking for a race where performance matters, the timed categories are where the competition begins. You can choose between:
- Timed 5K – ₹1,199
- Timed 10K – ₹1,499
Both categories include official race timing, competitive rankings and eligibility for prize money where applicable. The 10K race is expected to attract the strongest field and serves as the flagship competitive event of the morning.

Those driving can access the venue via Vittal Mallya Road, Lavelle Road and Cubbon Park Road. Traffic is generally light at this time of day, although arriving before 5:00 AM is recommended.
Tips before race day
A little preparation will help you enjoy the event even more:
- Collect your race kit and bib before race day once collection details are announced by the organisers.
- Wear proper running shoes, especially if you're participating in the 5K or 10K events.
- Although hydration is available along the course, carrying your own water bottle before the start is always helpful.
