Mona Lisa Immersive Bengaluru: Step Inside Leonardo da Vinci's World
Step into Renaissance Europe with Mona Lisa Immersive Bengaluru's interactive VR art adventure.
What if you could do more than just look at the Mona Lisa? What if you could step into the world that created it?
That's exactly the idea behind Mona Lisa Immersive: The Final Touch, a new Bengaluru experience that combines interactive art installations with a story-driven virtual reality adventure. This experience places you inside a narrative that takes you across Renaissance Italy and France in search of a stolen masterpiece.
Running at Param Science Centre (ParSEC), Jayanagar, this is one of the first large-scale experiences in India to blend physical exhibits with a full VR journey, creating an attraction that feels part museum, part interactive theatre, and part time-travel adventure.
What is Mona Lisa Immersive: The Final Touch?
Created by Omoi Studio and powered by Fever, the experience combines responsive art installations with a virtual reality storyline inspired by the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci.
The premise is simple but engaging. Just as the Mona Lisa is about to be unveiled, the painting disappears. From there, you become part of the story, travelling through key moments in Da Vinci's life and creative journey to uncover what happened.
Instead of passively viewing exhibits, you interact with them. Artworks react to your presence, projections transform around you, and the VR component places you directly inside historical settings connected to Da Vinci's life.
The result is an experience designed for anyone who enjoys art, history, technology, storytelling, or immersive entertainment.
How the experience works
The full experience lasts approximately 40 to 45 minutes, with around 35 minutes spent in virtual reality.
Using a VR headset, you'll move through a guided narrative divided into six chapters. Along the way, you'll encounter physical installations and interactive spaces that extend the story beyond the headset.
The format is designed to be accessible even if you've never used VR before. Staff members guide participants through the process, making it suitable for families, casual visitors, and first-time VR users aged eight and above.
The six chapters of the journey
The theft that starts everything
The adventure begins in the present day. As the Mona Lisa is about to be revealed, the lights suddenly go out. When they return, the world's most famous painting has vanished.
From that moment, you're pulled into a mystery that unfolds across centuries.
Discover Leonardo's birthplace in Vinci
The journey takes you to the Tuscan village of Vinci, where Leonardo spent his early years.
You'll explore the landscapes that shaped his imagination and gain insight into the environment that influenced one of history's greatest creative minds.
Explore Renaissance Florence
Next comes Florence, the heart of the Renaissance.
This chapter places you in one of the most important cultural centres in European history, where Leonardo developed his artistic skills while working alongside master artist Andrea del Verrocchio.
Witness The Last Supper in Milan
One of the most striking sections transports you to Milan.
Here, you'll encounter a life-sized recreation connected to The Last Supper, one of Da Vinci's most celebrated works. The experience recreates the setting in a way that allows you to appreciate both the scale and significance of the masterpiece.
Visit Leonardo's final home in France
The story then moves to the Loire Valley in France, where Leonardo spent the final years of his life at Château du Clos Lucé.
This chapter explores his inventions, unfinished ideas, and enduring curiosity about the world around him.
Complete the final touch
The experience concludes with an interactive finale in which your actions help bring the story to its conclusion.
Without revealing spoilers, this final chapter ties together the mystery and the artistic legacy at the centre of the experience.
Interactive art installations
While virtual reality is the headline attraction, the physical installations are equally important.
Throughout the venue, you'll encounter responsive projections, interactive displays, and immersive environments inspired by Leonardo's work and ideas.
Many of these installations react to movement and presence, meaning the experience can feel slightly different each time you engage with it.
This combination of physical and digital storytelling helps create a more complete experience than a standard VR attraction.
Why Leonardo da Vinci remains so fascinating till date
More than 500 years after his death, Leonardo da Vinci continues to capture people's imagination because he was far more than a painter. He was an inventor, engineer, architect, scientist, anatomist, and visionary thinker whose notebooks contained ideas centuries ahead of their time.
The Mona Lisa remains the world's most famous painting, but Leonardo's influence extends far beyond a single artwork. His studies of flight, machinery, anatomy, and design continue to inspire artists, engineers, and innovators today.
This experience uses modern technology to make those ideas accessible in a way that feels engaging instead of feeling academic.
